JURIDICA, LSE: JIL, LONDON INVESTS IN GREEN TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPER AC KINETICS — SOFTWARE CUTS ELECTRIC COSTS

LONDON and NEW YORK, July 14, 2014 — Juridica ORD NPV has made an investment in AC Kinetics, a privately-held US-based developer of an advanced induction motor control algorithm that reduces electric motor energy consumption while improving performance, simultaneously.

Richard Fields, Chairman and CEO of Juridica Investments said, “We believe the AC Kinetics proprietary energy savings motor control technology is on a successful commercial path by winning support from an impressive list of large global manufacturing companies and drive makers. The AC Kinetics advanced innovative engineering team will also enhance our investment in IP Create by adding valuable and patentable next generation technologies to our patent portfolios.”

Based on non-linear system optimization the AC Kinetics software library is easily ported into new Variable Speed Drives (VSD) with no hardware changes or impact on existing drive software and surpasses the present state of the art run time motor control algorithms. The software optimally self-tunes in minutes eliminating the time and errors inherent by hand tuning.

Neil Singer, PhD, President and CTO of AC Kinetics said, “We are holding discussions with the largest users of AC induction motors, and variable speed drive manufacturers. These entities told us they will specify our proprietary software on their future VSD purchases after performing field tests. Our goal is to license our software to drive makers and, in the future, possibly manufacture custom drives that offer end users a fast ROI by reducing their electric energy consumption.”

The $1.25 million investment by Juridica follows an investment last year of $500K from Capstone Companies, Inc. (otcqb: CAPC). CEO of CAPC Stewart Wallach said, “We recognized the potential of the AC Kinetics motor control technology early on. CAPC has exclusively licensed a proprietary power failure lighting technology patent from ACK that enables lighting and switching during power failure. The AC Kinetics technology team has proven, for over 25 years, to be brilliant inventors in areas of optimized control.” Earlier technologies for residual vibration control developed by the AC Kinetics team are licensed by entities such as NASA, DOE, Danaher, Disney, Seagate, Magnetek, ACS and others since the early 1990’s.
